Frequently asked questions
Do twitter.com links still work?
Yes. Both x.com and twitter.com links are supported.
Can I download GIFs?
Yes. X stores GIFs as short videos, so you'll get an MP4 that loops in most players.
Is it free?
Yes. There is no sign-up, no limit on how many files you save, and nothing to install.
Can I download private X posts?
No. We can only see posts that are public. Private, friends-only, or deleted posts can't be downloaded.
Do you keep a copy of the files?
No. Files are passed straight from the platform to your device. We don't store videos or keep a history of what you download.
Is this allowed?
Save content you created or have permission to use, and respect the creator's rights. Don't re-upload other people's work as your own.
